GRAPHTEC Suggested Settings


Note: All suggested settings are a starting point. Depending on the media and or brand, adjustments may be required based on the media itself

 

Normal Window Tint Film using the TintTek 20-25 Degree Blade and Q-Series Blue Blade Holder

 

                15-21 Grams of Down Force pressure. The blade should be adjusted only as deep as the film to   

               be cut. Aim for the lower number when using a new and serviceable blade and make

               adjustments as the blade dulls.

              10-15 in regards to Speed, Aim for the lower speed as recommended by the manufacture.

                Note: The darker the tint the thicker the media in most cases

 

Ceramic Window Film using a Q-Series 20-25 Degree Blade and Q-Series Blue Blade Holder

                

            15-21 Grams of Down Force pressure. The blade should be adjusted only as deep as the film to   

             be cut. Aim for the lower number when using a new and serviceable blade and make

             adjustments as the blade dulls.

             10-15 in regards to Speed, Aim for the lower speed as recommended by the manufacture

              Note: Cutting Ceramic media may tend to dull the blade faster when cutting this type of media.

In all cases:

Only use the outside Pinch rollers * Adjust Overcut on Corners as needed * Expose a little more blade if needed * Blade should slightly score the liner * Pull the film away from you
